Spring | Earth | Creation
Serranai, the artist of the earth. The ground is her canvas and flowers her paints. Her masterpieces are visible in their peak form every spring and last well into summer, continuing to evolve in complexity even when her own season is fully past. Those fortunate enough to find themselves in her presence will know her by her wild red curls, crown of flowers and twigs, deer-like antlers, and satyr's legs. She is a painter, a gardener, a comedienne, a trickster, an archer, a warrior.

Her preferred offerings are sprigs of young plants and candles with herbs or flowers encased in the wax, as well as animal bones, fruits and vegetables, lovely stones, and art of all kinds. Devotional paintings, poems, songs, or artisan crafts are all acceptable. She has a particular fondness for fruit jam and wine. Her symbols include woodland creatures (particularly deer and rabbits), trees, animal bones and antlers, flowers, arrows, stone and gems, seeds, eggs, wine and mead, honey, bees, and spring plants of all kinds. She is most often represented by the color green, though floral pastels and red-orange are also common motifs.

Those who are likely to be favored by the goddess Serranai do not have to be born in spring, though it can often help. Regardless of time of birth, Serranai favors artists, gardeners, keepers of animals, and those who spend much of their time in the woods. She is known to grant her true sight and aim to archers who she favors.

Kora

Summer | Sea | Ambition
Kora, the swashbuckling queen of the seas. Adventurous and bold, she represents wanderlust, freedom, and courage. Even out of season, she retains her dominance over the seas throughout the year and is the patron of sailors, fishers, thieves, and travelers. She is known for her raucous personality, skill with swords and guns, windswept raven hair, sun-soaked complexion and eyes as deep and dark as the sea. She is also well-known to have a taste for spirits, particularly rum.

Kora's preferred offerings are seashells, precious metals, glass bottles and sea glass shards, gemstones, jewelry, coins of all sorts, and liquor. She is also fond of tobacco and summer fruits. Her symbols include marine animals (particularly sharks, whales, and dolphins), ships, waves, the sea in general, monsoons, swords, pistols, cannons, gunpowder, treasure and treasure chests, money, bottles, bonfires, sand, seaweed, driftwood, and the sun. Typically, her representative color is deep blue, but other jewel tones may appear in her imagery as well.

While those with summer birthdays are more likely to be favored by Kora, the pirate queen's beloved mortals can be anyone with a bold or adventurous spirit. Sailors, fighters, wanderers, and those who fight for their beliefs and defy the rules--- or those who deserve to. Kora often has a vengeful fondness for those who have been done dirty by authority. Whatever your situation, those who pursue freedom with burning desire are likely to be well-loved by Kora.

Celestine

Autumn | Sky | Cognition
Celestine is the goddess of mind and emotion, of artisans and readers, of hearth and home. She has domain over the sky, and with it, the weather, the heavens, and celestial bodies. Legends say she keeps clouds in jars on her shelves. She is known for her intellect, introspection, and compassion. She is also the keeper of homes and is said to be a phenomenal cook and lover of food, which is no surprise given that the bounty of Autumn is fully at her disposal. She is often dressed all in gold or silver, and she has a very dark complexion with deep brown hair that coils like a cloud. Her hair and skin are often tinged with silver moonlight or golden sunlight, depending upon the time of day, and it is said that those who look into her large, dark eyes will see silvery stars glimmering in her irises.

The preferred offerings of Celestine consist chiefly of autumnal delights and foraged items such as vegetables, pumpkins, reddened leaves, walnuts, acorns, mushrooms, and pinecones. She also has a special love for books and stories, and is fond of incense and tea. Her symbols include fall foraged items (such as the aforementioned), the written word, jars, fire (particularly in the form of candles, fireplaces, stoves, and lanterns), birds, wolves, bears, weathervanes, clouds, and rain. She also is often represented by tools, particularly those used in kitchens, forges, meteorology, and astronomy. The sun, moon, stars, and planets also fall under her domain, though she shares the sun with Kora during the summer's heat. She is most often represented by the colors gold and orange, though silver, yellow, red, and even rainbows have been used in her imagery.

Celestine is especially fond of those with autumn birthdays, but she is also the patron goddess of homemakers, chefs, craftspeople, scientists, doctors, students, and avid readers and researchers. She has been known to have a soft spot for homebodies and introverts. Those who seek knowledge, pursue crafts, and prefer the indoors are likely to be beloved by her. Out of all mortals, however, none are so beloved as those who spend their nights looking to the stars.

Mortanne

Winter | Beyond | Cessation
While the other three goddesses rule over the tangible, living realms of Earth, Sea, and Sky, the Winter goddess Mortanne is the keeper of the lonely domain of the Beyond--- that which lies outside our limited range of sight, past the veil that separates the physical world from the spiritual one. She wears a black mourner's gown and an ebony veil, but those who see her face have said that she always appears to be of similar age to the person to whom she is speaking. This is true of everyone from children to the elderly, though she retains her long white hair regardless of her apparent age. She drives a hearse carriage pulled by ghostly horses, and as you ride with her to your final destination with her, she will recount your life with you. The journey ends when you understand what sort of afterlife you have earned with your deeds.

Mortanne's preference of offerings is relatively understated, as she favors simple comforts such as bread and coffee. Sprigs of evergreen, pinecones, holly, mistletoe, and the few other winter-friendly plants also make good offerings, and she adores knitted or crocheted items. The symbols of Mortanne are skulls, spirits, tombstones, coffins, mausoleums, grave dirt, bones, mourner's garb, undertakers, and anything honoring the dead. She is also represented by things related to winter such as snow, snowflakes, pine trees, sparse winter plants, and barren deciduous trees. Carriages, sleighs, coachmen, reindeer and horses also are strongly associated with Mortanne.

Those with Winter birthdays are more likely to have Mortanne's favor, which is otherwise comparatively a bit rare. Lovers of Winter, those who work with the dead, deeply spiritual people, those who have experienced a great deal of loss, and those who have strong bonds with horses may also be able to earn her patronage. She is known to protect carriage drivers regardless of favor, and a broken carriage wheel can sometimes be a sign of Mortanne's displeasure or warning.
